Engine Component Design

In this project the student utilized Autodesk Inventor to design and assemble a functional 4-Cylinder engine. The student learned a wide variety of lessons in this project including designing and assembling components in Inventor, tolerances and crank shaft operation.


Tiny Houses come to the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center

Students at the Career and Tech Center had the opportunity to join in the "Tiny House" craze that is sweeping the nation.  Students learned about Architecture, Construction, Design Software and Highway limitations for moving tiny houses.  It was a great first project for new students to get excited about Architecture Design and Construction!




Video Game Character Design, Animation and Controller Design

Students were able to use Autodesk Mudbox to sculpt and create video game characters.  They can also bring the characters into Autodesk Maya to add a skeleton and muscles to animate the character.

Wheel Design 2017!

Students had the opportunity to design their own wheels.  The project encompassed each student drawing several sketches of wheel designs.  Next they researched car manufacturer wheel standards.  They then designed their wheels using Autodesk Fusion 360.  We were also able to print prototypes on the 3D Printer.
